I have recently put up a thread on IMDb as I often do, about many characters becoming human and perhaps remaining human for ever. This went down like a lead balloon. Then another poster add similar theme, days later. So it seems others could be thinking this too.
Since Sam had began injecting his blood into Crowley in the finale, and Crowley expressing to Dean how us humans fascinated him. With Crowley showing us signs of a more human, nature in his ‘I declared to be loved speech’. Could becoming human be too overwhelming for him. Could he at last become a human being? Crowley is the one who will continue to fascinate me, if he does become more human. The spell wasn’t completed, so there is every possibility he could still have demonic residue still within him. But this would be one huge big leap for Crowley. Was he perhaps getting comfort from Sam in the finale about knowing what it was like to actually feel ‘human’. Was he so scared of loosing his demonic powers, that he wouldn’t no how to live without them. How can an evil personality change, can he really show us a different character, to the one we are so use to seeing? Or will he remain ruthless and arrogant for ever.
Also Sam becoming we think purified, and allowing him to become more human than he has ever been before. Sam yearns to be more human than all these characters put together, so he’s invested so much thought once the trial kicked off. He sensed what it could feel like without the demon blood. He seemed elated by this prospect. He so wanted the trials to be over so he could feel that process happening. Could we see a different side to Sam, perhaps than what we’ve seen for some time. Was Sam being out of character this season be the reason, for acting more oddly than usual. But again will this hugely disappoint him if he is not ‘becoming human’. Could this again send him over the edge.
Metatron was was a humble clerk in an office, before he was plucked from obscurity by God. He was out for revenge, or was it much more than this. Did he want to feel so desperately what is was to be human so badly, that he would do anything to get it back? When we saw what lengths he went to trick Castiel in doing his dirty work. How could one man be so cruel in taking their power, just to extract revenge. He is one ruthless little man, out for his own gain. But what is he really after? Can he live long with out no angels in heaven. What above all is he really after? Does he have other plans up his sleeve.
Metatron also left Castiel powerless, and by the looks of it with amnesia too. Has been ‘human’ once before in ‘The End’, noticing how noticeably different he was. Can Cas ever get use to working a daily life without his power. Will this be a real struggle for him to get around and just generally function. Would this fall from grace be too much for him to bear also. What lengths will he go to in getting his grace back. Could Cas live with just being a ‘human’ for ever and a day?
Also all those thousands of angels falling from the sky are also now ‘human’. So could this be a possible theme for next season. What effect will this angles have on earth? How will they integrate into a ‘human’ reality. Will they in fact survive without their grace for long? Can Cas perhaps gather his troops, and be their hero and put Heaven back to what it once was. God had also left the building, and we think he is on Earth. So what would bring this to his attention that all his angels are no longer. Will he sense them falling and jump into action. Will this force him to make an appearance. Will he have some influence on what Metatron has done to his kingdom?
So my little Angels, Bella is curious about how you would feel if Humanity was the theme for next season, or perhaps just the first half. Would it be an interesting view to see our characters in a real dilemma, seeing how they would react and cope without their comfort blanket. Also what lengths they would go to, to get it back. Get those computer keyboards typing as you know by now I love receiving your responses, can’t wait little ones ….
